Today marks the premiere of 818: This pilot presentation follows the familial and complex relationship between twenty-three year old Danny (Dylanger Mychael Bates), a gay amateur pornographer and his sixteen year old sister Erica (Kristi Lauren). This coming of age dramedy features an ensemble cast filled with colorful and unforgettable characters only found in the San Fernando Valley. Through vices, emotional angst and humor these friends are pulled into one another creating a melting pot of all things Los Angeles while challenging and poking fun at the image that has lingered in the valley for decades.
